By using ByteRivet (https://byterivet.com), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The service

ByteRivet provides free tools for generating test files and converting/editing images and PDFs. Most tools run entirely in your browser; some file-conversion tools may process files on a server, disclosed on the tool's own page where that applies. The service is provided free of charge, "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to process content you don't have the right to process, to attempt to disrupt or overload the service, or to circumvent any rate limit or access control. We reserve the right to block access that abuses the service.

Your files, your responsibility

You retain all rights to any file you generate, upload or convert here. We claim no ownership over your content. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to process any file you use with these tools.

No warranty on conversion accuracy

Format-conversion tools — particularly reconstructing an editable document from a PDF — have real, disclosed quality limits: results can differ from the original, especially on complex layouts. Don't rely on any conversion here as the sole copy of an important document.

Limitation of liability

ByteRivet is provided without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the service, including loss of data, business interruption, or reliance on generated or converted files.

Availability

This is a free service with no guaranteed uptime or availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any tool at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date below reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
