What happens to your file

Source deletion is attempted after conversion. The result is deleted after its first download or by queue cleanup once its 15-minute lifetime has elapsed. Failed job metadata has no verified automatic deletion schedule.

Known limitations

  • This is the one tool family that uses server-side processing rather than running fully in your browser — see the privacy note below.
  • Complex layouts, unusual fonts or advanced formatting may render slightly differently than in the original application.
  • Very large files may take longer, since conversion happens server-side rather than locally.
