Free PDF Tools

Every tool in this family runs locally in your browser — nothing you process here is ever uploaded.

These five tools cover the everyday PDF operations that don't need a full desktop editor: combining files, pulling out pages, rotating or deleting pages, stamping a watermark, and shrinking file size. Each one runs entirely in your browser, so the PDF you're working with — often something you'd rather not upload anywhere — never leaves your device.

Which tool do I need?

  • Merge PDF — Combining multiple PDFs into one file
  • Split PDF — Pulling out specific pages or a page range
  • Organize PDF — Rotating pages or deleting a few pages
  • Watermark PDF — Stamping DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL or a name across every page
  • Compress PDF — Shrinking a large PDF's file size

Supported formats

All five tools work with standard PDF files. None of them currently support password-protected or encrypted PDFs — remove the password first, in another tool, if your file has one.

Questions.

Are any of these PDF tools processed on a server?

No — all five PDF tools (Merge, Split, Organize, Watermark, Compress) run entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Nothing is uploaded.

Can I combine PDFs and then split the result?

Yes — run Merge PDF first, download the combined file, then feed that into Split PDF (or any other tool) as a second step.

Is there a file size limit?

There's no limit enforced by the tools themselves — the practical ceiling is your browser's available memory, which handles typical documents easily.
